Currently it's mot possible to view stderr output for running tasks. This made sense when each task had to be doublechecked. However, with LLR2 I think there's no harm if people can see which number is currently tested.

Could this easily be implemented? I'm just curious which numbers are currently tested and don't have access to BOINC directory most of the time.

Where is problem?
You see all candidates if LLR2 is used
( one of your workunit)
Command line: projects/www.primegrid.com/geneferocl_windows_3.3.3-2.exe -boinc -q 79958598^131072+1

or

Starting Proth prime test of 237019*2^23168086+1

So you can see it on the web interface :)

P.S Ah you need to see output for running task: I think it will always be hidden until task is done

Stderr.txt a file in the slot directory on your local computer. It's not on the server until the task is complete, so it can't be made available on the website. This is just the way BOINC works and has nothing to do with our apps.

For main tasks, the server would have to expose (on the web pages) the "task file" it sent to the BOINC client. That should be a short file (but not for DC tasks; however they have a link back to the main task which will have every info at that time). But I do not think we have done something like that before, and it does not seem like a terribly important feature. /JeppeSN

No, if it requires lots of changes, it's not necessary.
