Most tasks here on PG have a similar duration when looking within a subproject on the same computer. There'll always be some variance of course, but what I'm seeing on TRP sieve at the moment is quite extreme: The fastest task took about 4500 seconds, while the slowest took 18500 seconds. That's more than 4 times as much time, for what I can only assume is a similar task and I know is the same amount of credit.

Below is a screenshot of the overview of the tasks completed by the computer that's behaving wonky. As you can see, it's the actual CPU time that's all over the place, not just the run time.



Does anyone know what's up here?

Might be the same problem as described in VALIDATOR ACCEPTS INCORRECT RESULTS!!!

Wrapper reports success, although sr2sieve terminated for another reason. Validator can just check any factor found; if all factors are correct, the result will be marked as valid.
