Since we are now back at 5M territory and the computing time is now around ~40.000s on my i7 2600, maybe we should raise the deadline for these tasks?

I'm not crunching 24/7 and also other projects so the 5 day deadlines are a little bit short.

Yeah, a seven day deadline would be nice. One full week. That helps catch computers that are turned off for the weekend.

If you only miss a deadline by a small amount, almost always you'll get credit for the task. Under normal circumstances you need to miss the deadline by quite a lot in order to not get credit.

The only consequence is that another task will be sent to a third computer, so some computing resources will be wasted. But as far as you're concerned, nothing much changes.
