1) Message boards : Problems and Help : 2 little questions: pending credits and difference in susceptibility (Message 131345)

Thank you for the feedback! :-)

1. alright. Some patience is certainly feasable ;-) .. I just wondered because some pending credits are almost directly confirmed, others take weeks.

2. I will do some more testing to narrow it down.

So far I reinserted the RAM bars firmly and at least after 24h mem test, there are no errors shown (yet).

temperature seems ok to me under full load...

Although it might not affect the reliability I give the disabling of HT a run.

I'll keep ypu updated. And if you have more insights, I'd appreciate them.

Thanks again!

Andreas

Hello,
I guess I got the solution more or less fortuitously.

After installing new Rambars, I got still some errors. (Z87 board)
Looking in a deeper corner of the Bios,
I've accidentally discovered some inappropriate CL values, for whatever reason, I thought something like that works automatically...
I switched DRAM from "standard" to "performance mode" although it is supposed to be less stable. Then it automatically switched the JEDEC Values to the correct timings. Since than, everything seems to work just fine, wether with the older bars or the new bars.
Strange and beyond my knowledge, however, I am happy it works. :-)
Cheers, Andreas

Dear community,
two little /maybe naive) questions here which I didn't manage to find answers yet, although they might already exist.

Thus, I make it short:

1. I have some pending credits in Woodall LLR and Cullen LLR since a couple of weeks. Is it just "normal" or could the error be on my side?

2. My system runs for many days crunching flawlessly on tasks like AP, PPS LLR (PPS, PPSE, MEGA), SGS LLR e.g....however, on other tasks like SOB LLR, ESP, 321, Cullen, Woodall it crashes reliably every few hours. Is there a certain susceptibility/sensitivity towards some sort of tasks? System just freezes completly or reboots without a specific error message. No heat issues. All CPU tasks are running multithreaded.

Thanks in advance for hints or advice where I could dig deeper :-)
