Funny ^^

When written in base 16 (hexidecimal), this 1401 digit prime number found by Phil Carmody forms a gzip file of the C-source code that decrypts the DVD Movie encryption scheme (DeCSS).

Hello all,

It's me ! The user of the day ^^

I'm a noob in mathematics. I understand there is LLR and Sieve.
I understand also LLR is 32 bits and Sieve 64, so I'm crunching only Sieve. (Archlinux 64 ftw)

On my profile page, I can see at the bottom the applications with results.

But I don't understand why LLR shows Prime number found whereas the others shows Factors.
What are the differences between the two ?
Is it useful to find a bunchload of factors ?
I want to find primes numbers, do I have to reactivate LLR ?

Thank you.

Regards,
~ktr
