BOINC is very literal, and does not understand the pull of challenges :P

It wants a task to be finished before requesting another. A suspended task is not a finished task, so why ask for more? I was careful to make sure all my SOB's finished before the challenge so as to avoid the same problem.

I suspect it is because the results are compiled in partly manual fashion and the name change was not noticed. I suggest a PM to John to fix this.

Your proper position should be 12, after this challenge.

When I added a star to my name it was picked up OK.

Why do my Challenge Stats get split just because I changed my Name from PoorBoy to Paladin*. I'm still using the same E-Mail Address so the Stats should go under my Current Name I would think, if not then the whole Challenge Year has been a waste for me ... :(

My final TRP LLR validated today, so now up to 13 badges. Unfortunately my SoB WU only got me 9,360.95 credits, so now I'll have to do another one. Still at, least I'll have time to work on my PSA badge in the meantime...


Yep, but only because you snuck the SOB in while mine is still only 1/3 done!
At least I know how many points I am, roughly, in line for :P

Yes it is a crash, I am having the same problem as noted upthread.

The client will request PPSE10K tasks, not get any, then try the next option.
The client will download and run 40 PPSElow11k tasks, return same.
The client will request PPSEhigh tasks, then crash.

I comment out the PPSEhigh server, and the client will happily loop between the first two options.

Phenom x4 on win Vista 64. Client Ver 3.3.0

I too have had this problem but with the following configuration:

server=PPSElow10:0:20:uwin.mine.nu:10000
server=PPSElow11:0:40:prime2u.com:11000
server=PPSEhigh:100:20:prpnet.primegrid.com:12007


Altered to this and script works fine.

server=PPSElow10:50:20:uwin.mine.nu:10000
server=PPSElow11:50:40:prime2u.com:11000
//server=PPSEhigh:100:20:prpnet.primegrid.com:12007


Given that I really wanted to run the PPSEhigh series this was a bit sad.

Nooby question:

I have got, crunching PPSElow11K, over three days, 97,746, 112,510 and 85,795 points totaling 296,051 prpnet points.

How many BOINC credits will I get?
Basically, I am after the conversion ratio.
