Thank you for your advice.
I stopped current work and changed the division to 4 to run simultaneously.
Now will it be OK even if eventually there are no factor in some of the ranges and output for the ranges absent?

I started running Manual Sieving for Generalized Cullen b=47 on Windows 7 x64.
I used time command on Bash to measure elapsed time and found 0-byte checkpoint.txt when I hit Ctrl+C,
so I thought checkpoint won't work for this project and wanted to divide the range into small pieces.
(checkpoint.txt worked when the program is ran directly from the command prompt)
The form provided only 1 to 8 as division number,
so I edited the HTML through developper tool on my browser and divided my task to 32 pieces.
(now each pieces will take about 3 hours from my computer)
When I completed one of the divided tasks, I found that the output file isn't created.
It may be because no factors are found in the range.
(here is a screenshot of command prompt for who want to see it)
Will the admin approve my results even when some files are missing due to luck of factors?
Or should I stop cheating, divide my task to one of the provided numbers, and start again?

I updated my preferences to do PPS(LLR), PPSE(LLR), Sierpinski / Riesel Base 5 (LLR), Sophie Germain Prime Search (LLR) and The Riesel Problem (Sieve).
When I saved the setting and returned to the preference page, I noticed that Proth Prime Search (Sieve) is enabled for CUDA and AMD (ATI).
I opened the setting page again, turned off these two checkboxes, and saved the setting.
But it isn't worked: the two GPU tasks were still enabled.
My BOINC client says "No usable GPUs found," so I don't think my computer will crunch extra jobs.
Still, I wonder why these two tasks can't be disabled.
Is this behavior a error or as specified?
I also have preference for "school" from before, and there are no GPU tasks enabled.

It looks as if you haven't set your avatar yet. There are THREE steps you need to do.
1) Click on the "Choose File" button to upload the avatar image -- it must be less thn 4K bytes, in JPG or PNG format, and no larger than 100x100 pixels.
2) Click on the "Use this uploaded avatar:" radio button.
3) Click on the "Update" button near the bottom of the page to save your new preferences.
I did it, and it did not work.

Say, which does the 4K bytes limit mean, 4,096 bytes or 4,000 bytes?

Hello.
I am noticed that my avater image isn't showing in this board.
It was definitely showing before.
I uploaded my image again from this page, but it didn't work.
I reduced the size of my image to 3,886 bytes and uploaded it, but it didn't work.
Am I banned from uploading my avater?

What is the role of the "strange" task and the task crunched by my computer in the same WU?
What is "previous calculation"? Is it mean a task crunched by other person's computer like usual tasks?
