PRPNet Stats
(Message 145072)
Posted 930 days ago by Dingo
I have found that the stats on this page do not reflect the work being done.
http://u-g-f.de/PRPNet/user_search.php?uid=Dingo
It does not show tasks from Project 27 that I have running which can be seen on the Pending Tests page. http://prpnet.primegrid.com:12006/pending_tests.html
The task 27*2^8210170-1 Dingo Corona MT2 BOINC@AUSTRALIA 2020-11-07 20:50:41 UTC 9:23 62:36 is not shown under the User Search.
It also does not show the Task 27 for another BOINC@AUSTRALIA User http://u-g-f.de/PRPNet/user_search.php?uid=174300
I could not find anywhere else to put this ??

PSA Credit
(Message 138703)

I thought that the credit from PRPNet went towards the PSA Badge but I have been doing a lot of tasks recently, I am doing over 50 a day at the moment, and the credit does not seem to go up very much.
On the PRPNet scores it says that I have.
Task User Team credit tasks completed
121 = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 52774919 784
27 = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 37647900 776
FPS = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 1750213 108
PRS = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 1020623 91
WFS = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 160000 160
WSS = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 9000 9
Plus som ancient work with the total on my stats page at:
ports points tests near or probable hits hits
prime 93,596,356 1,767 0 0
wwww 169,000 169 0 0
ancient 19,008,626 853 0 0
overall 112,773,982 2,789 0 0
BUT MY total on the PSA is only 23,217,594.
There is probably an explanation for this and the points on PRPNet are only granted a proportion on BOINC but I would like it explained for my and others information.

I have a GFN21 running under windows 10 and it had an estimated finish time of just over a day on CPU Multi Thread. I changed the number of threads in the script (14 to 15)and I rebooted my machine and when I started BOINC up again the estimate for the task is now over 40 days and he Prograss % is rising very slowly compared to other tasks on other machines using less threads.
Not sure I should let it continue to run or not ???
I also Have a GFN21 running on a 1080Ti GPU and the Estimated time on that has also jumped up from just over 7 hours to 2 days 22 hours ???
NOTE: I aborted the tasks.
I got 2 new tasks
CPU 15 threads = 1 day 9 hours
GPU = 11 hours 40 but dropping fast. Should end up abut 7 hours ?

I get those errors as well but they are normal. When you actually start to run the sub project work then the error stops for that sub project.

Sorry... it's too hot to run my GPU's in the middle of summer. I'll have to pass on this one.
I hear you mate, I will be doing very little as well. I am going to do a couple of GFN 21 CPU multithreaded as GPU just runs too hot when it is over 35C + room temperature.

For hyperthreading you use the syntax <cmdline>-nt 4</cmdline>
In LLR multithreading is is just -t 4 and not -nt 4.
Is this a typo or the GFN's are different ??

What is the meaning of the two numbers of Manual Sieving. Is Sieving finding numbers that might be Prime ?
959815134871698800641 | 709500654^2097152+1
959815195922830196737 | 802617394^2097152+1
A layman's answer if possible.
