[Main task] points to https://www.primegrid.com/result.php?resultid=xxxxxx
[Proof task] points to https://www.primegrid.com/workunit.php?wuid=yyyyyy

The link to result actually shows "Stderr output".
You need another mouse click to see the workunit.

Wouldn't it be nicer if both types of links pointed to the the workunit instead ?

But it is by design! It is a one-to-many relation. In rare cases (like when somebody misses there variable deadline and an additional task is created, then the first user still completes his task) there can be more than one "result" (task) in each work unit.

From the validation work unit, the "[Main task]" links (all will be the same) will go to just one of the results of that main work unit. The other results of the main work unit will be linked by other validation work units.

And similarly, and more relevant to your request, from the main work unit, the "[Proof task]" links (each will be different) will go to full work units, because each of them may have more than one result, in those rare cases.

Hard to explain. Maybe the admins can find an example of a validation work unit that has more than one completed task (and maybe also a main work unit with more than one completed task).

Thanks for the explanation, JeppeSN.
I hadn't realized that possible one-to-many relationship.
