We have a nice feature where you can "Toggle Menu" to switch between a menu on the left and a top menu. Also mentioned in thread web page updates? (menu=top, menu=left)
The structures of the two menus are different, and that seems to be intentional.
Some pages cannot be found if you use the left menu, for example:
I think it would be "nice" if these items would appear on the left menu, because the left menu is the default, and people searching for a particular page do not expect that they have to change the menu layout in order to find it.

Hmm the Contact Us is at the bottom, but the other two are missing.

We have list sorted by fastest CPU,by OS, by credits.
Suppose I need to learn some info about all users that have Ryzen 3900x ( I would like to buy that CPU but I need to know how fast is)
Only thing now I can do is open list of fastest computer then search page by page until I found specific CPU then look at user, then look at results page.
Can be done in some easier way?

When I switched the site to the newer drop down menu design, I decided to leave the old menus as an option for those who would prefer the old familiar layout. I decided against changing the old menus by adding newer options. It would have meant changing the structure of the old menus, thus negating the value of retaining a "familiar" option.
At the time, I wasn't sure if *I* would like the new menus at the top of the screen, so making both available seemed like a good idea. In retrospect, it wasn't. The top menus seem to work better, and make the website easier to read, in all use cases. There would have certainly been complaints, but it would have been better to just switch to having menus along the top.
It's a good thing (for you) I'm not an admin anymore. I wouldn't add more items to a menu I think should no longer exist. I'd just remove the toggle option.

Not really.
Even though I have access to the raw data in the database, what you'e already been doing (asking people on the forums and on Discord for their experiences) is what *I* would do if I was thinking about making a significant purchase like you are. The data in the database can only tell you how fast something ran. It can't tell you the conditions under which it was run.
As the person who was responsible for creating those statistics pages, I'll be the first to tell you that the data is awful. There are so many important pieces of information missing from that data that it all but renders the data completely useless. The most obvious omission is whether HT is on or off, but there's many other phenomena that distort the data.
Many times I've done some sort of analysis on the data, and I've posted some of them on the forums. What you haven't seen are all the times the data was completely unusable.

While I agree that we don't want to monkey around with the old menu system links for the reason Mike stated, I disagree with Mike on having the toggle. On a personal level, I do not like the drop down menu system for my purposes. But much more importantly, drop down menu systems on websites can have some real issues for individuals with accessibility issues, and it is not clear to me that our current drop down version is the best option for such individuals (especially for visual impairments). The old menu system, while far from ideal, is a fairly simple structure that may behave better for things like screen readers (and to be clear, I think we could probably do better than either option, but the reality is that we are a small volunteer staff with little ability to perfect the accessibility of the site at this time).

The certificate and user search are available from Your Account page. The user search is called "Find Friends" and is on the right side near the top. The certificate is just above the "other projects you particiate in" list. |

I have always been perfectly happy with the left-hand-side menu structure. Plus I have an eyesight condition. |

I didn't know that! So I guess you can in fact reach every page without toggling to the top menu.
There is one page, /language_select.php, (which I know about from a Forum post) that I do not know if I can reach from any menu or any page.

You're right, there is no link to that page anywhere.
The original code PrimeGrid first used might have predated the addition of the language select page. Jim tried adding it, but it had some compatibility issues. It was ultimately removed. |

I agree to what Scott said, though I've only been here for a year or so, the default (vertical) menu is very familiar to me and It feels more "comfortable" to use. Yes the buttons are all there, so I think the menu as is doesn't need any changes.

While I use the drop down menus on my computers, when i'm browsing mobile, I find the original left-side menus far easier and quicker to navigate. I like 'em both.
