Hi All,

I've had a RAC of approx 600000 for a few months but lately it's been dropping fast with no real change at my end.

I'm running Linux Mint Cinnamon on an i7 8700k (no overclock) with a GTX 1070Ti (no overclock) and a GT 710
I checked the system monitor and it shows 5 CPU's running at 100% (3 CPU tasks and 2 GPU tasks), but the process monitor shows 5 CPU's at 8% for the primegrid processes all running at very low priority

Does this sound 'normal'?

Oh, I'm running 3 SR5 tasks and 2 GFNs at the same time with no app_config etc.

CPU tasks intentionally run at low priority so that they give way to any "real" work the computer has to do. The low priority part is normal.

If SR5 tasks are only running at 5 percent, the reason is likely that there's something else i.e., not BOINC) that's running and consuming the CPU cycles.

Well, five threads in a twelve-thread system is 41.7%. Five Primegrid processes at 8% is 40%. I don't see much discrepancy.

My Ubuntu system says [process monitor] 48% usage for SR5 running 4 threads, [resource monitor] sees eight threads active at 50% on average. Resource monitor is really dynamic, switching threads from core to core, but I believe that is what it is trying to tell me.
