Does anyone know if the PPS Sieve CUDA application will run on Pascal or not? I want to get this out there because I have run into other projects where the users complain that their CUDA applications crash on Pascal because Pascal requires compilation with CUDA 8.0 libraries and previous CUDA versions are incompatible with Pascal. If it does not run, the AMD OpenCL version could be ported to Nvidia hardware if the OpenCL version is at most 1.2, or the developer could recompile the application with the CUDA 8.0 libraries.

Pascal GPUs are the mainstream GPUs here, and PPS-Sieve is the most popular project here.
