Questions about the 'Prime number list' page

Now that I got my first tiny 388,342 digit prime from SGS, I got to see this page. Immediately jumped out at me that this data is missing:
1) The date it was found/doublechecked by me
2) Who is the doublechecker/finder (link to their Prime Number List page)?
3) Which machine of mine was it found by? Preferably the hostname, but at least the host id, linking to the host.
4) What type of task it was (cpu, nvidia, ati, etc.)? Maybe the app name?
5) Run time & CPU time it took
6) Possibly a link to the workunit page, but I don't think the data to generate those pages stay around forever.
All that info (except for #6) is published for the big primes, so I am hoping that it is stored for each prime found.
Or, is there a way to see all this info already that I am missing?
Thanks
Tuna

Sorry, but none of that information is kept long term.

This probably deserves a better answer than "no". "Not really", "not yet", and similar responses would have been a bit more accurate. The lack of information available on primes has bothered me for a while, but it's one of those "nice to have" things with a sufficiently high implementation cost where the benefit has never quite justified the cost. Still, I could have given you a better answer.
First of all, if you find a prime, the notification you'll receive by email includes a link to the Workunit. That will lead you to most of the host and similar information you're asking for. Other than that email we don't save the workunit information because it's transient and will go away in a short while.
The lack of dates really bugs me, and we started recording the discovery times a couple of years ago. The information isn't (yet) in a place where it's easy to correlate with the other prime information. That may change. If it does change, all recent primes will have dates, and many, but not all older primes will have dates as well. Note that this is only the discovery time of the prime. We don't record when it was double checked.
As for showing the double checker, that's actually something that we do store, at least when there is a double checker. I'm not sure why looking up the double checker would be useful to anyone.
Interestingly, you didn't inquire about some of the things I'd like to see displayed with primes:
* Link to the Top 5000 list page for the prime
* Link to our official announcement
* Fermat divisor (or GFN or xGFN divisor) information
Some of these things are harder to make happen than others, and none of it is something that HAS to happen. So no promises, but I'd like to see this improved, so there is hope.

Glad to know I'm not the only one... Thanks for taking the time to re-respond.
Does every prime found generate an email or just the top 5000 that gets filed?
Double checkers don't get email, right?
Your additional requests are, of course, valid. My list was just the first things that came to my mind.
Why to know who double checked? Curiosity, just like for everything else.

Every prime.

Correct, just the prime finder gets notified.

It's very much a work in progress, with not only the features still being worked on, but with a tremendous amount of work still necessary to gather and load the relevant data, but you might want to check out the improvements I've been making to the following prime number displays:
Primes by project
Example of a single person's primes
You can use the primes by project list to, for example, show all the Fermat divisors we've found.
Like I said, it's still a work in progress, so don't complain (yet) about missing divisor information, missing T5K or official announcement links, or missing dates. It will take some time to get all that done, and some of it, specifically a sizeable portion of the dates, simply are not available.

This is awesome. I love how responsive you are to suggestions... 😊
It would be great if you could incorporate my suggestions 3, 4 and 5, as well, going forward. Doesn't master that old data doesn't exist. It is nice to know which machine is finding primes, using CPU or GPU, taking how long.
Thanks!

While I'll happily take credit for responding so well to suggestions, honestly, your post simply reminded me of things I already had on the to do list. You supplied the roundtuit.
As for 3, 4, and 5, they're not going to happen, sorry. That's not the kind of information that's stored anywhere once the workunit is purged, and we have no plans nor desire for doing so.

Maybe a "GPU" and "CPU" division on the tasks page on top row. I've been wanting that for a long time. Maybe just from here on out so you you don't need to back track any data (unless it automatic).

That's ok. It means I need to take a screenshot of the WU in the email as well as the host and task pages pointed to by the WU page, and fwd your email to myself with those attached. :-)

Not that I have any prime numbers to my credit but that is one useful page involving prime number finds for a given user including wingman status!

It would be nice to have a link available at http://www.primegrid.com/home.php so that one pulls up their stats with a simple click. The section "Computing and credit" would be ideal and similar to the "Manual sieving reservations" entry. ;-)

I've added the ability to show more than the first 1000 primes by selecting pages of 1000 primes each.

And your personal primes page will now show Fermat divisors. (And GFN/xGFN divisors.)

It's good to know that more than 70,000 primes have been discovered to date :)
The T5k and official announcement links are also very useful :)

All of the announcements links are in there, but very few of the T5K links. Those will take some time.
