WSS challenge on prpnet. I am in and thought I'd start a thread.

I'm in too! |

I think my CPU will be in too, bringing up the rear! |

Question, thoughts on defecting for a bit to help out another team on the WSS challenge?
Just something I am considering but of course want input from the team and I might not even do it.

Gee - we weren't hiding meanings - 1st quote just meant come and go as you please
and the 2nd was from the down homey Motel 6 commercials implying that no matter where you roam - you're always welcome here.

You two are no fun. Here I was trying to get a rise out of you and all you can do is play nice :(
Apparently it is a cold day somewhere LOL |

I won't apologise. I am sorry but it is not my way. |

I thought when I read that this had been re-shuffled so as not to coincide with the World Animal Day challenge on BOINC, I read different dates. I could still be in for a bit, but when you're relying on CPU-only it's sort of all-in(ish) like for the WFS challenge, or best not to bother. WHen I realised what I'd done, it was a tough one, Sob WUs can be very thankless tasks. |

I'm running WSS now, after a significant delay from finishing up the TRP-LLR challenge and then doing some clean up on that.
WSS-GPU on linux is very CPU intensive as well, so one can't run anything else usefully, or even use the box for much of anything due to screen lag. I suppose I could "de-tune" the wwww.ini settings, but that just seems wrong.

I find it odd that Mr Cool has his team name wrong and none of his teammates told him unless he did it on purpose. Funny stuff actually. |

Just a couple of days to go, and we're obliterating the competition. Well done! Now, where was that Wall-Sun-Sun prime I left lying around here somewhere? :-)

Well at least Z and B got near miss hits. I didn't get a sniff. Brink passed his bad luck to me I believe! Anyway, as Gary said way to go team ! I'm out so Gary can catch me - which he probably would've done anyway.
Way to go AtP !

Another impressive prpnet showing! I've moved back to boinc conjecture projects for the time being... at least until the next challenge starts. :-)
I'll make this thread un-sticky now. Cheers!
