I just found 1693 · 2^743504 + 1 is prime.

However, I have no idea which of my computers discovered this prime. I've already looked through probably 100 of the tasks, but I can't find it, and it takes too much searching and clicking to do so.

Why doesn't PrimeGrid report the task number and computer of each prime discovery? I know that I'm not the only person who would appreciate it.

A follow-up question: when is this new Proth prime tested for GFN divisibility? Is the result posted anywhere?

Why doesn't PrimeGrid report the task number and computer of each prime discovery? I know that I'm not the only person who would appreciate it.

The original PrimeGrid project code was not designed to include that information. Rytis would be able to identify the complexity of adding it to the primes table.

A follow-up question: when is this new Proth prime tested for GFN divisibility? Is the result posted anywhere?

All proth primes are tested for GFN divisibility immediately after validation using pfgw64 and the following notation: -gxo -a2 -q"prime". If any divisibility exists, it is included in the email sent out as well as reported to the Prime Pages. An example is this recent submission: 2471*2^729965+1. If you look in the comment section, you'll see: Divides xGF(729964,3,2)

This information will eventually make it to Wilfrid Keller's Factors of generalized Fermat numbers site.
