I have GTX470 and use app_info.xml
it works for GPU.
Now I want to add CPU app
the relevant part is

You have to manually download all needed files to the primegrid-project folder and i would delete the flops-entry. This value could only be reached by using a gpu...

Also, you could try deletiing app_info.xml. It's no longer needed for most nVidia cards. Be aware that may kill every WU in your cache, so don't do that if you have any long running WUs like SoB or PSP in progress.

Both work fine here. Note that if you're not 64bit you'll have to change the name of the exe to the 32bit CPU version. Enjoy!
