Confused!! I suddenly have another prime showing for me as initial finder under Proth search but I didn't register it and when I searched the database I find that Harvey registered it... in September!

Any ideas?

Initial Finder is a title for PrimeGrid only (rather than double checker), this may or may not be consistent with being the discoverer of the prime for the Top 5000 list since PG is doing some double-checking of some ranges (also, if the "initial finder" does not report it within 19 days, the double checker may actually get credit in the Top 5000 list).

So I am not the initial finder of the prime according to the world but I am according to PrimeGrid.

Thanks for the explanation but it does take some of the gloss of prime searching for me personally.
