Either all my boxes got a whole lot smarter a few hours ago or we have a new type of PPS WU. Crunching time down by 60%.

Yes, just doing a little experimenting. A 450K<n<451K range has been inserted from the PPSE project (1200<k<10000). All seems to be working well. :) Already 2 primes found.

Are you going to keep it going if all goes well??-- Need a lot more crunchers to reach your end of year goals.

Yes, if everything continues smoothly, PPSE will be included. And yes, to meet end of year goals, PrimeGrid will need to grow substantially. I suspect we'll have to modify those goals now.

Told ya if you stick with it things would get better--- Mind you-- I think PG might have mistakenly gave you some of my primes--- I'm having a dry spell at the moment. --
Best of luck & keep on crunching---

What's happening with sieving for PPSE?
PPSE Sieve is a manual effort and supports the Proth Prime Search Extended project (k*2^n+1 for 1200<k<10000 and n<2M). It is available by request only for those with 64 bit OS's and especially for dual, quad, and dual quad core machines. :D If you wish to participate in the PSP Sieve, please PM me or Lennart for more details. Manual BOINC credit is available.
