Has anybody noticed how lean the points are for this contest. I know I have some pending but this is really bad. Let me know if your seeing this too. Patrick

you need to be a real SOFA - equipped with reading glasses to find them.

that's why there is so little participation in this challenge. [ROFLMAO]

Have you guys noticed how thin the points are? but look at the participants rank and you've struck gold. I might be pulling 6000 a day with five machines but on the rank chart I've scored over 160,000. I love crunching on this site but the points seem thin. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a feeling my RAC is about to take a hit over these next 5 days. And it was just starting to get good with AP26 giving me 3 times what I ask for. At least BoincStats has the lead thusfar :)

As noted in the first post of the Challenge thread:

Application builds are available for Linux 32 bit and Windows 32 bit. These applications will be sent to 64 bit clients. As with all LLR application projects, there is no advantage of 64 bit over 32 bit.

Noted in another thread:

A 64 bit LLR application does not exist...and it doesn't look likely in the near future...unless a genius comes along.

The sieves and AP26 all have 64 bit applications. Therefore, the optimized code earns more credit.

Finally, while Challenge points are awarded for each WU, BOINC cobblestones must wait until a quorum of 2 is achieved. Therefore, RAC will go down and pending will go up until quorum is met for each WU.

Never said I was unhappy with the challenge points. I actually expected to be much further down the list than I am:)
